This website is operated by Ali Arbabi, REALTOR®, RE/MAX Hallmark Realty Ltd., Brokerage ("we", "us", "our"). We are responsible for personal information collected through this website and handle it in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us, plus the minimum technical data needed to run the site:
- Contact and consultation forms: your name and phone number.
- Showing requests: your name, phone number, email address (optional), preferred time, the listing you asked about and any note you add.
- Listing alerts: your name, email address and the search criteria you save (area, price range, bedrooms, bathrooms, property type).
- Client accounts: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
- Session cookies: if you log in, a cookie keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
We use your information only to:
- respond to your enquiry and arrange showings or consultations;
- send the listing alert emails you subscribed to;
- provide access to your client account; and
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a real estate registrant in Ontario.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and protect it with reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from listing alerts at any time using the link in any alert email. You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us using the details below.
